Responsibilities:
- Provide salon services, including haircuts, shampooing, blow drying, coloring, highlights, and balayage.
- Ensure a great customer experience by understanding the customer’s needs and be able to recommend and deliver the latest cuts and styles suitable for them.
- Inform and educate customers on their hair care product needs.
- Ensure that customers with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner.
- Keep up with current hair cutting and styling trends.
- Have a willingness to learn, share ideas, and communicate well with our customers.
- Perform general salon duties, including maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation.
- Follow all salon policies and guidelines.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other staff members.
- Knowledge of current trends in the beauty industry.
- Eagerness to learn and improve your craft.
- Ability to service all hair textures and length.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Provide a book of your work.
- 1 year of professional hair styling experience preferred.
- Valid Pennsylvania cosmetology license.
