The Role: HR Business Partner - Hybrid Pittsburgh, PA
Our client is seeking an organized, analytical, and proactive HR Business Partner to join their team. As an HR Business Partner, you will join our Human Resources team and provide support to our Industrial Process Heating and Electric HeatTrace commercial teams. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for driving HR and talent.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop close working relationships with the Industrial Process Heating and Electric Heat Trace leaders and their teams by demonstrating strong business acumen when discussing key business objectives and projects.
- Work in conjunction with the ETS and Group HR leadership and HR COEs to help deliver effective HR strategies and operational solutions that drive business-specific objectives.
- Focus on talent-related initiatives that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the business.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on people-related issues for people managers while demonstrating empathy, credibility, and integrity and maintaining confidentiality.
- Provide advice and support on a wide range of HR issues in keeping with our Spirax Group practices, culture and values.
- Work with various HR partners to manage the implementation and execution of our people strategy with the assigned client group.
- Counsel and coach people managers and leaders on Expectations of People Managers, and provide strategic HR advice to create engaged and high-performing work environments that enhance employee engagement and develop the full potential of our talented workforce.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team in the implementation of our operational and talent strategies that build trust, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness and workforce productivity.
- Bring best practices and external perspectives to strategic and operational business discussions and people management decision-making.
- Travel: About 25% travel, both domestic and international, may be required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable years of experience.
- 5+ years of experience working in Human Resources.
- Robust relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Strong learning orientation, curiosity, and business acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
