The Product Fabricator I is directly responsible for performing basic manufacturing processes such as tube forming, cutting, grinding, polishing, shot blasting, sawing, brazing. The Product Fabricator I will assist Mfg. Techs and other Product Fabricators in new product development. This role requires hands-on operational knowledge and experience with various types of fabrication processes, equipment, and tooling.
Principal Activities
High school diploma, manufacturing discipline college accreditation or professional certification, ASME/ASTM TIG weld certification.
Principal Activities
- Knowledge of operational process specifications, blueprints, routers, and inspection reports.
- Prepare materials for processing / assembly per router bill of materials.
- Follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
- Safely operate basic power, hand, and inspection tools.
- Grinders, polishers, drills, punches, files, saws, etc.
- Calipers, micrometers, pins, thread gages, etc.
- Sanding, polishing, and sandblasting of in process and finished goods.
- Part cleaning with IPA/Acetone/DI Water.
- Basic knowledge of chemical cleaning applications.
- Cosmetic acceptance criteria of in process and finished goods.
- Brazing of fittings, wires, and adaptors.
- Welding of adaptors and components.
- Assemble products per process specifications, blueprints, routers and inspection reports.
- Part handling and cleanliness requirements.
- Perform in process quality checks and document results.

- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- One to three years manufacturing experience.
- Proficient with various hand tools, (drills, saws, grinders, buffers, scrapers, etc.)
- Ability to follow process specifications or operational drawings and record results.
- Ability to effectively follow directions and respond to questions from employees, managers, and industry peers.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
